Background:
In the hustle and bustle of daily life, the act of leaving or returning to our homes often involves multiple tasks and actions, from hanging up our keys to putting on our shoes and taking off our coats. These seemingly small yet essential tasks can sometimes lead to chaos, forgotten items, and unnecessary stress.
Design Process:
The design process for this furniture piece began with ideation, where we envisioned a solution for our intended purpose. Sketching and rendering transformed these ideas into visual concepts. The design incorporated eco-friendly materials, like wood and felt, selected for their sustainability.
The making phase involved crafting a prototype using these materials, ensuring it met both the functional and aesthetic requirements.

Final concept:
Our solution aimed to create a piece of furniture that not only eases the process of getting ready but also adds a touch of personality to your home, making it feel like a friend saying “hi” when you arrive. The result is a sustainable, practical piece that simplifies daily routines while enhancing living spaces.
What makes it even more fun is that you can easily carry it from the store and assemble the pieces by yourself. Moreover, it’s incredibly space-efficient, making it a perfect fit for our modern, cozy apartments.

Reflection:
Throughout this project, I have developed and refined my skills in sketching, woodcraft, photo editing, and product design.
